Eulogia Esteban's Obituary
Eulogia “Luz” Domingo Esteban passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. She was only 76 years old. She retired from Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co, where she worked as a Seed Dropper. She relocated to Las Vegas to help raise and care for her grandchildren.
Luz was predeceased by her generous and loving parents, Anecita Corpuz and Sixto Domingo. She is survived by her husband, Robert Esteban; her daughter, Rachel (Dennis) Bagay; her grandchildren, Ember and Brander; her sisters, Armelina Sadiri and Candelaria Domingo; her brother, Irving Domingo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Luz was a sweet and beautiful lady with a loving, kind and compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. Aside from being shy and soft-spoken, she was always smiling and happy. She had a big heart full of unconditional love that you could feel in her hugs.
Luz loved and adored her two young grandchildren, who were the love of her life. Before succumbing to pneumonia, she spent most of her days with her two little blessings. She was so proud of Ember and Brander.
She also loved cooking and gardening. Her roses & orchids were beautiful. She would cook with the vegetables that she harvested from her garden. She made sure that there was always a big pot of her delicious and flavorful home cooked meal on the table for her family. She was famous for her pancit bihon, fried chicken and banana lumpia at family gatherings. For Luz, cooking was never a service, as it was the purest act of love. She loved, cooked and lived in the moment.
