Florida Cruz Asper was born in 1931, in Honolulu, Hawai'i, to Mateo and Margarita (Calano) Dela Cruz. She peacefully passed away on August 28, 2025, in her hometown of Honolulu, surrounded by the love of her family.
She is survived by her brothers; Randy (Jubi) Dela Cruz, Honesto (Emily) Dela Cruz, Sister; Esmenia (Antonio) Marcial, Son; Gerry Asper, Daughters; Theresa (ben) Asper Realica, Susan Asper Cabrera, Grandsons; Rj Toribio, Bj Toribio, Joshua Asper, Granddaughters; Mary Ann (Ro) Cabrera, Hannalore (Jerrold) Bali, Krystle (Rachel) Toribio; Great Grandson; Micah Toribio, Great Granddaughters; Miya Bali and Kaylee Bali.
Florida was deeply loved by everyone who knew her and touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness. Her radiant smile could light up any room, bringing joy and comfort to those around her. With a caring heart, an upbeat spirit, and a gentle soul, she always put the needs of others before her own. Her strength and determination showed immense courage, and her fearless will to fight was an inspiration to all who loved her. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
Florida's legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to live on in her family and all those whose lives she touched.
