Floyd Eugene “Ike” Eichenlaub, 78, of Wailuku, Hawaii, died July 3, 2012 in Kula, Hawaii.Mr. Eichenlaub was born August 5, 1933, in Lock Haven, PA. He painted airplanes for Piper Aircraft, in Lock Haven and after retiring he moved to Maui to be with his daughter, where he later worked security with Guardsmark at the Azeka Plaza in Kihei, Hawaii.He is survived by his daughter, Robin C. Smith, an estranged son, and sister, Hazel Anderson of Tennessee.Floyd loved animals, music and sports, and was an avid football fan.Floyd and his daughter would like to thank Laureen Joseph of Kula Hospital and all the wonderful staff at Kula Hospital, Dr. Nguyen, Kim Chi T., Dr. Mills, Dr. Haddad, Dr. Gayland Yee, Dr. T. Rogers, Dr. Mark Schwab, Dr. C. Tasaki, and those who may have been overlooked, you are not forgotten, many thanks for your professional and loving care during our difficult time of illness.
