Fumiko Nagata's Obituary
Fumiko Nagata, 100, of Kahului passed away on July 25, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband Tsutomu Tom Nagata. She is survived by sons, Andrew (Noreen) and Leonard (Merlyn) of Kahului, Maui; daughter Joyce (George) Akamine of Hilo, Hawaii; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Miyo Kato of Tokyo, Japan and Faith (Paul) Bagley of Catonsville, Maryland; and brother Hachiro (Susan) Shimanuki of Lake Placid, Florida. Private services were held at Nakamura Mortuary on August 14, 2021 with burial on August 16, 2021 at the Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao. The family respectfully requested no koden or flowers.
