Gayle was truly one of God's beautiful children. I cherish the time spent with her. She was always so kind and loving to everyone.
My wife and I knew Gayle for many years. When we think of personification of the word "aloha," she would always come to mind. She was always so warm and caring. So it was with great sadness to hear of her passing. I am Achea-Lani's teacher. When I heard the news from my school administration the morning of the 29th, before school started for the day, it required great effort on my part to collect myself for the field trip that would ensue within an hour. I was helped in this regard by the strength demonstrated by her granddaughter. She lapsed briefly into tears on a couple of occasions that day, but she would pull herself together. Gayle would have been proud of her.
Our profound condolences,
Alan and Wendy Isbell
p.s. Found out about today's services too late.
Love you Aunty Gayle, you will be blessed in heaven for all that you did for your family and grandchildren. Although you leave us early to go home, you lived a full life and fulfilled your calling, the positive influence you made on your grandchildren's lives will be with them and guide them as they grow to become positive contributors in their own lives. I will remember fondly my childhood days of family excursions to Hana and Keanae, camping at the beach and fishing the north shore with our families.
We'll all miss you dearly, and we love you with all our hearts.
Your nephew,
Ryan
