George Tamotsu Kishaba's Obituary
George (Tamo) Kishaba, age 85, passed away peacefully at Hospice Maui on January 31, 2020, surrounded by his immediate and extended family. He is survived by wife Jane (Hasegawa) Kishaba; sons Mark and Gregg Kishaba. A 1952 graduate of St. Anthony High School, he went on to receive a BA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1963. Prior to retiring as a Director at Maui County Housing Division, he held positions at Hawaii Omori, Ige Construction, and TKU Okinawa. After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling and cruising across the US and Asia.
A memorial service and mass will be held on (Saturday) February 22, 2020, at St. Anthony Church on Maui. Family visitation from 8:30 – 9:30 am. Public visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Service and mass to follow from 10:30 am – 12:00 Noon. Burial at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30 pm, followed by lunch at Nakamura Mortuary at 1:30 pm. No koden (monetary gift). Donations can be made directly to St. Anthony Church in his memory.
