Gordon Hirano's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Hirano, 77, of Kahului, Maui on March 14, 2026, at Roselani Place.
Born in Paia, December 05, 1948.
He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Texas and Germany.
After the army he attended and graduated from Utah State University College, where he got his Master degree.
Gordon returned to Maui and became a Math teacher for Maui High School, he was also a Leo Club adviser.
Predeceased by his parents, Takeo Hirano and Masako (Grace) Hirano.
Gordon is survived by his siblings; Brothers- Raymond Hirano, Harvey Hirano, and Sister-Darlene Valencia.
Nieces; Roxanne, Dominique, and Desiree.

Would like to thank the care takers/nurses at Roselani Plance, Hospice Maui, and instructors at YMCA, Peggy and Jean. Truely appreciates all the care and attention Gordon had received. Mahalo to each and one of you!!!
Burial Service- Gordon will be laid to rest at Makawao Veterans Cemetery on April 16th, 2026, at 9:00am.
