Gorgonia Teano's Obituary
Gorgonia "Goning" Panglinan Teano 94, peacefully passed away on January 28, 2026 in Wailuku, Maui, surronded by her children, under the compassionate care of Hospice Maui. She was born December 9, 1931, in the Philippines. She is pre-deceased by her Husband, Manuel Teano Sr. She's survived by her loving children: Danilo Teano, Marilou Alcantara, Joseph Teano, Manuel Teano Jr, predeceased Maribel Acoba and William Teano. She leaves behind her treasured 14 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.
Gorgonia lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, faith, and family. She moved to Maui, Hawaii in 1977 from Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Throughout her life she was a dedicated and hardworking woman. She was employed at Woolworth and Litz Furniture in the late 1900s.
Family and Friends are invited to honor Gorgonia's Life at Christ the King Church in Kahului. Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 9, 2026 with public visitation @ 6pm. Services will continue Tuesday February 10, 2026 with public visitation at 9am, Mass at 11am, Burial at Maui Memorial Park at 2pm.
