Goro Nakasone's Obituary
Goro Nakasone, 87, of Paia, died on December 7, 2013 at his home under care of Hospice Maui.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Holy Rosary Church, with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Mr. Nakasone was born in Paia on January 10, 1926.
He was a mechanic with HC&S.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Katherine Nakasone; daughter-in-law, Elaine Nakasone; grandchildren, Danny (Ellie) Tolentino, David Nakasone, Patrick Fujikawa, Seth Nakasone, Brianna Nakasone; great grandchildren, Michael and Ethan Tolentino. Predeceased by his son, Ronald Nakasone and Kathleen Nakasone.
