Harlan Yoneto Eleu Masuda 's Obituary
Harlan Masuda, 46, of Wailuku, Maui, died on Februry 11th. He is survived by his wife Marnie (Raff), son Jackson and daughter Skylar, his parents Koki and Rene Masuda of Kahului, brother Sheldon and wife Mary Alice of Wailuku, sister Charla and husband Randy Doss of Wailuku, Marnie's parents Rick and DeeDee Raff of San Clemente, California, and too many extended family members and friends to list here.
An avid fisherman and body surfer, Harlan was active in his son's Boy Scout troop and was his daughter's biggest fan in the audience of Maui Academy of Performing Art's theater productions. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and children, and playing music with friends.
Harlan was a lineman at Maui Electric Company and a lifelong resident of Maui.

A paddle out ceremonial scattering of ashes is being arranged for Friday, February 21 at 4pm, at Kanaha Beach Park.
