Haruko "Sally" Ajifu's Obituary
Haruko “Sally” Ajifu, 88, of Kahului, died Oct. 5, 2014, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
A visitation will be held on Saturday October 11, 2014, at 10:00 am, at Nakamura Mortuary, with funeral services at 11:00 am. Mrs. Ajifu's inurnment service will follow, at 2:00pm, at Maui Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ajiku was born on March 11. 1926, in Pa'ia,Maui, HI. She was a Cafeteria Manager for many Maui schools, finishing her career with the Hawaii State Department of Education at Iao Intermediate School.
Sally was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Shigeo Ajifu, and is survived by her sons, Paul (Lori) Ajifu, Ralph (Debbie) Ajifu, and David (Carol) Ajifu; brothers, Dennis Shimora, Allen Shimora, and Stanley Shimora; sister, Esther Shimora; and her cherished grandchildren, Sharla, Thane, Sara, Matthew, and Reece.
