Haruko Goshi's Obituary
Mrs. Haruko Goshi, 100, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2016 at Hale Makua in Wailuku.
Haruko was born in Paia on May 25, 1915 to Kamejiro and Taru Tosaka.
She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Goshi; son, Stanley Goshi; and daughter, Elaine Goshi.
Mrs. Goshi is survived by her daughter, Jane (Tommy) Sato; sons, Calvin (Harriet), Randal, Clifford (Kay) Goshi and daughter-in-law, Emiko Goshi; sister, Gladys Kubo; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Grandma will be remembered fondly for her wonderful pies and sushi.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the Hale Makua Wailuku Staff for taking such wonderful care of “Haruko Goshi”.
At her request, services were held privately. Please no koden and no flowers.
