Harumi Koki's Obituary
Harumi Koki, 86, of Wailuku, died March 28, 2012, at his home. Private services were held. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with the arrangements. Mr. Koki was born on January 15, 1926, in Wailuku, HI. He was the son of Nenohachi and Shigeo (Sakamoto) Koki. He was a US Army Veteran, and a retired salesman for Star Ice and Soda Works (Takitani Enterprises). He leaves behind two brothers, Kiyoki Koki (of Kahului) and Wataru Koki (of Honolulu), and two sisters Alma Y. Koki (of Los Angeles, CA), and Sumi (Walter) Sonoda (of Honolulu), many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Mr. Koki loved to grow orchids, do arts/crafts, go fishing, listen to OLD 33 1/3 records, spend time with family, and he had a great love for animals. He had 4 cats.
