Hatsue Takatsuka's Obituary
Hatsue Takatsuka, 95, of Lahaina, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2017, with her loving family by her side.
Services honoring the life of Mrs. Takatsuka will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Lahaina Hongwanji Mission, with visitation at 9:00am, and service at 10:00am. She will be laid to eternal rest on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Maui Veterans Cemetery, beginning at 11:00am.
Hatsue Takatsuka was born on June 9, 1922, to the late Mr. Yoichi & Mrs. Kiyono Imano. Hatsue was a self-educated dental assistant who strived to attain knowledge and grow in her profession. She loved to socialize, craft, quilt, cook, play poker, and host family events, but above all, spend quality time with her loving family.
Hatsue is predeceased by her loving husband, Yoshio “Aga” Takatsuka. Hatsue leaves to cherish her memory, son, Alan (Debra) Takatsuka; daughter, Judy Cramer; grandsons Matthew (Vikki) Cramer, Ryan (Kayla) Takatsuka, Kai (Ben Ptacek) Takatsuka and one great-grandson, Milo Takatsuka.
