Hatsuhara Frank Satoshige's Obituary
Hatsuharu Satoshige, 89, of Waihe’e, Maui, passed away on May 16, 2012 at his home surrounded by family. He also received the wonderful support of Hospice Maui. A farewell service was held under the auspices of Tensho-kotai-jingu-kyo, the Teaching of the Absolute God of the Universe, at Nakamura Mortuary on May 23, 2012.Mr. Satoshige was born on January 1, 1923 in Wailuku, Maui.He worked for Wailuku Sugar Company for nearly 40 years. He is preceded in death by his brothers Hatsuo and Tsugio, and sisters Hatsuko Fukuhashi and Hanako Yamamoto.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kiseko Satoshige, his daughter Florence (Willy) Oliveros, sons Milton (Carole), Wayne (Jenise), Robert (Debra), and Thomas; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild; brothers Hatsuichi, Irving, and Melton Satoshige, and sister Peggy (Art) Taggart.
