Henry Zenjiro Nakamura's Obituary
Henry Zenjiro Nakamura, 91, of Kahului passed away on December 3, 2020 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born at the Puunene Hospital on December 30, 1928 to Taisuke and Shiono Nakamura.
Henry faithfully served as a member of the Valley Isle Credit Union for 50 years and was a long time member of the Kahului Hongwanji Mission. He loved music and was a gifted piano player who share his talent with friends and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette; daughter Darcy Nakamura; grandson Shane Tanouye of Honolulu; brother Paul (Millie) Nakamura of Los Angeles; pre-deceased by sister Lillian (Toshimi) Sodetani.
A public walk-through visitation will take place on Friday, May 28 at Nakamura Mortuary from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. followed by a private memorial service.
