Hideo Kaya's Obituary
Hideo Kaya, 82, of Kahului, died on July 8, 2015 at his home under the care of Hospice Maui.
Private services were held.
Mr. Kaya was born on Dec. 21, 1932 in Wailuku, Maui.
He was a Superintendent in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Kaya; son, Brian (Carolyn) Kaya; daughter, Donna (Bryan) Shigezawa; grandchildren, Kristen Kaya, Taylor and Jenna Shigezawa; two brothers, and two sisters.
Mr. Kaya loved playing craps in Vegas, golfing, cooking, gardening, and spoiling his grandkids.
The family would like to thank Hospice Maui for their exceptional care of Mr. Kaya.
