James Craig Bowersox's Obituary
James “Jim” Craig Bowersox, 73, of Haiku, Maui passed away peacefully under the care of Island Hospice on June 29, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born July 19, 1947 in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
Jim served his country through two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a truck driver who loved the open road, fishing and spending time with his family. Jim was a devoted father and loving husband whose generous heart and ready smile touched all who knew him. In retirement he realized his lifelong dream of traveling the US in an RV and split his time between living in Maui with his family and adventuring with his wife in their RV. He was also a member of Ala Lani United Methodist Church in Kahului, Maui.
Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Lynn Bowersox, children: Kenneth Zysek, Kerry Cullins Fitzgerald and James Bowersox II, and Grandchildren: Noelle Cullins, Elisha Cullins, Arielle Bowersox Seeley, Jake Bowersox Seely, Ashleymarie Zysek, Andrew Zysek, Aaron Zysek, Katelyn Zysek and Jessica Zysek.
We would like to thank the staff at BAYADA, Maui Memorial Hospital and Island Hospice for their compassionate care during the last year.
Private services will be held.
