James B. Mullenix's Obituary
James B. Mullenix, 70, of Kihei, passed away on July 31, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Mullenix was born on March 21, 1947 in Washington State. He was a computer programmer & analyst, as well as a security officer. He lived on Maui, for 30 years, where he, first and foremost, enjoyed being a father, taro farming, fishing, and raising orchids. He was also a great tennis player, photographer, and family historian.
He was predeceased by his son, Jimi (Mullenix) Wilcox and leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Matthew (Rakelle) Mullenix; grandchildren, Mila Mullenix and Ian Mullenix; sister, Carrie Vallance; nieces, Jamie (Vallance) Shannon and Rikki Lee Vallance; former wife, Teri Nakasone and grand nephew, Sawyer Shannon
