Janice Itoe Markwith
August 16, 1942 - April 29, 2022
Janice passed away as she wanted, at home surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her husband Landon Markwith, mother Satsue Sasaki, and brother Carl Sasaki. Janice is survived by her 2 daughters, Deana (Mike) Hockstad, of Bakersfield, CA, Doreen Davis, of Lahaina, HI, and 4 grandchildren, Jon Gloege, of Mesa, AZ, Taylor Hockstad, of Houston, TX, Trey Haneline, of Lahaina, HI, and James Hockstad, of Anaheim, CA.
We are sincerely grateful to her friends, Pastor John Crewe, and church for all of the kindness, support, and friendship. We are thankful for the incredible care Janice has had over the years with Dr. S. Johnsen and Dr and staff at Liberty Dialysis, and in the end Hospice Maui.
The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 10:00am with Pastor John Crewe at Lahaina United Methodist Church. Light refreshments will immediately follow the church service. A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park. All who wish to attend are welcome.
