Mrs. Jean Haruno Migita, 98, of Kula, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016, under the care of Islands Hospice, and loving family by her side.
Services honoring Mrs. Migita were held privately. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Jean was born on January 20, 1918 to Sadanosuke & Yukino Watanabe in Maui, HI.
Mrs. Migita was a homemaker and business owner for Kula Garage & Service. Jean loved to tend to her garden, taking care of her home, and caring for her family. She was a caring and loving person who made a difference in people’s lives.
Jean is predeceased by her loving husband of 78 years, Mr. Robert T. Migita.
Jean Migita leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Roy (Janice) T. Migita, and Milton (Susan) Migita; daughters, Carol (Donald) Matsumoto, and Joanne (Clayton) Hanagami;
Grandchildren, Dr. Russell (Jenny) Migita, Dr. Darren (Dr. Kathy Thomas) Migita, Cindy (Richard) Pritts, Sheri Matsumoto, Kristi (Aaron) Nakahara, Todd Hanagami, Wendy (Dax) Yokoyama, Shelly (Brent) Uyehara, and Jenny Migita; and 8 loving great grandchildren.
