JOHN C. DOUGLAS's Obituary
John Curtis Douglas, better known as Curt, born on January 31, 1957, in Long Beach, California, and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon passed away on May 25, 2024, at home amongst loved ones in Hana, Maui, HI.
He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Carpenter, and was a skilled Tradesmen. Curt, found joy in cooking, golfing, playing pool, live music, and dancing, football, NASCAR races, classic auto auctions, and simply hangin' with the boys. His flare and love of these things brought light and laughter to those around him.
Thoughtful, Hardworking and Generous with a friendly and helpful nature, he lived just as he pleased, enjoying life as much as one can, as was his way.
He is survived by his Sweetheart of 20yrs, Christabel Dunn, of Hana, brothers Michael and Robert Douglas of Oregon, sons Chad (4 Grandsons) and Coy, daughter Asia (2 Granddaughters), Maui hanai mom and brother, Gail and Jimmy, and many beloved cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Raymond Douglas, and his mother, Wilma Ann "Billie" (Forsyth) Douglas, of Grants Pass, Oregon.
Curtis's wish was to have his ashes spread in Oregon, joining his mother and father...when the time came.
Curtis will be deeply missed and forever loved, always in our hearts, may he rest in peace!
