Growing up on Lilinoe Place on Maunalani Heights in Kaimuki was a great time to be a kid. We had a lot of children in the same age group and we played after school till we were called in to dinner. John was part of the gang and helped create our fort on an empty over grown lot we nick named “Devil’s Trail”. The big rock on top was the official meeting spot and we never ran out of games to play. We had our own version of Tin Can Alley and John’s garage was the perfect hiding spot. We will miss you John, our prayers are with you!
