Johnny Edward Gonzales Jr.'s Obituary
Johnny Edward Gonzales, Jr., 63, of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, passed away on March 29, 2013, at Maui Memorial Medical Center, in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. A private celebration of Johnny’s life is scheduled for later in the summertime, on the mainland.
Johnny was born in West Hollywood, California, on December 3, 1949. Among the many interests he took in this life, he owned and operated a plaster construction business, with which he made his living for many years. He is predeceased by his sister, Silvia Soto. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathy Gonzales; sons Shawn and Mark Joseph Gonzales; daughters Jacquelyn Alexandria Consenz and Erin Leah (Curtis John) Beresford; brothers Larry, Bobby, and Albert Serrato; sisters Martha, Tina, and Louise Gonzales; grandchildren Jeromy, Cheyenne, Makenzie, and Colton.
Johnny loved fine dining and traveling, the color red, and his family. He loved Elvis, and Top Gun, and listening to 50’s rock and roll. Finally and most importantly, Johnny loved his God, Jehovah, with all his heart. His faith took him through the joys and difficulties of his life with ease and grace.
We will miss you, our dear Johnny, but we know that we will see you again, in perfect form, here on Heaven on Earth. Until then…
