My dad was such a great man. He was always supportive. This one memory I’d like to share is when was casted in the production of MAPA’s Miss Saigon. I went to talk to my dad about Vietnam and how was it during the war. See my dad is a Vietnam War Veteran and growing up he didn’t talk to much about it. But this time as an adult, I asked him for research in helping me in my role. My dad was so supportive, there was some hesitation and then some info and yet there wasn’t too much info. Lol. But what my dad did share meant the world too me. It helped me every night in performing. I dedicated my performances to him. I will never forget coming out of the dressing rooms after the show and he was there. He gave me a big hug and said “Good job boy. I’m proud of you.” Thankfully someone caught a picture of that moment. I will treasure it forever. Thank you Dad for believing in me and always supporting me. I love and miss you!
