Joyce Muraoka's Obituary
Joyce Muraoka, 65 passed peacefully on October 2, 2017 in California.
Joyce Muraoka was born on July 2, 1952 to Kaoru and Fujie Muraoka. After graduating from Baldwin High School, Joyce attended Chapman College and obtained her master’s degree in speech pathology and audiology. She worked for the Orange County School District for over 15 years, then went into private practice.
She leaves behind to cherish their memory, mother, Fujie Muraoka; sisters, Sharon (Dick) Kamita, Donna (Russell) Ando; brother, John Muraoka; nieces & nephew, Alison (Tho) Vixaysakd, Jason Kamita, Jessica Ando; grand niece & nephew, Evan and Emme Vixaysakd; Aunts, Fumiko Nakamura, Kimiko (Fred) Hirayama, Margie (Isami) Watanabe, Ellen (Takeshi) Moriwaki and Aunt in law, Yasu Kawawaki.
Private services were held on January 26, 2018 at Kahului Union Church.
