Kaoru “Kako” Inouye, 90, of Kahului, died May 23, 2014, at Hale Makua, Kahului.
Visitation will be at Wailuku Door of Faith Church, June 28, 2014 at 10:30am, with services at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Inouye was born Jan 9, 1924, in Spreckelsville, HI.
He was a storeroom clerk for Maui Land and Pineapple, Co.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ohta Inouye; daughter, Constance “Connie” (Dennis) Schwind; sons, Keith (Jan) Inouye, Earl (Rochelle) Inouye; brother, Fred Inouye; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
