Kay Keiko Watanabe's Obituary
Kay Keiko Watanabe, of Pukalani, passed away on April 23, 2015 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Makawao Hongwanji Mission. Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. followed by the service at 4:30 p.m. The family requests no flowers or koden (monetary offerings).
Kay was born on September 26, 1944 in Wailuku. Before she retired in 2007, she worked as a payroll clerk for the Maui Fire Department.
Kay is survived by her husband, Allen Watanabe; son, Ryan (Dara) Watanabe; granddaughter, Taryn Watanabe; siblings, Kenneth Oishi, Robert Oishi, and Rena (Ron) Matsunaga; and nieces, Stacie, Kellie, and Marcie Matsunaga.
