Keoni Dale Villegas' Obituary
Keoni Dale Villegas, beloved father, son and brother passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, at the Maui Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 53. Born on January 2, 1971, growing up he lived in Old Wailuku Town and later moved to Oahu. Before returning to Maui to reside in Wailuku. Keoni is survived by his daughter Desirae Villegas. His sons Elroy, Elden, Elvron, Eljay, Eljean and Elstun Maio. His parents John and Gerrie Villegas. His siblings Kauhane (Sarah) Villegas, Keaka Villegas, Kahea (Keahi) Villegas, Hannah (Ave) Villegas, Cheryle (Benjamin)Reed, Keola (Harry) Aguinaldo. Hanai Sisters Dayvell “Boom” Kaowili, Natasha Heffernan and Precious Akina. 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Keoni was preceded in death by his birth mother Debra Kawa’a. Keoni will always be remembered by his family as strong, independent, resilient, and tender hearted. Whose selfless and caring ways showed those who he held close to his heart his devotion and love. Although known as a “Gentle Giant” he was a fierce protector. And at the center of it all you will find Pure Aloha which is the driving force behind all of Keoni’s characteristics. Service will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Saturday December 14, 2024, Private family viewing 5pm-5:30pm Public viewing from 5:30pm-7pm Service at 7pm-8pm Dinner will be served throughout the service Our Ohana would like to thank the medical staff at Maui Memorial Medical Center CCU Department for providing the best care for Keoni.
