Kimberly Ann "Timmie" Leimomi Kahakauwila's Obituary
Kimberly Ann "Timmie" Leimomi Kahakauwila, 61 of Kahului was granted her angel wings on
May 22, 2022. Her life would seem too short to many, but the quality of her existence far
exceeded the quantity of time she had here on earth.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 10, 2022@ Kanaha Beach, 3rd entrance@ 12 p.m ..
She is survived by her two daughters: Auli'i (Makaio) Kamali'i - Na mo'opuna: Uakea and La'iku
along with Emma Lyn (Paka) Adolpho - Na mo'opuna: Pakalana, Pakela, and Pawehi.

She was born to Marion L. (*Charlie) Russell; (Father -*Daniel C. Kahakauwila); Sister: Dawn
(Ivan) Sombelon and Brothers: Danny (Honey Girl) Kahakauwila; Derek (Cindy) Kina
Kahakauwila; Benjamin (Kathy) Kahakauwila; and Daniel Young. Nieces, nephews,
grandnieces and grandnephews are plentiful. ( Predeceased)
In her early years, Timmie grew up surfing the waves of Makaha, and she let um rip!! If you
knew her you would have remembered that she had the most beautiful golden tan and long ehu
hair, that everyone admired. She was truly a water woman to the core, who also loved laying
net, and paddling. Working with her hands in the yard and gardening was also a passion.
Spending time with family and friends was always her top priority. Her legacy lives on through all
of us, she loved and was loved.
