Kimiko I. Figuerres' Obituary
Kimiko I. Figuerres
An angel, Kimiko I. Figuerres, went home on April 1, 2018. A woman so righteous, so kind, with beauty unmatched to none. Whose smile lit up the room while reaching out for hugs that left everyone with such sweet energy to last for days.
Jesus is holding you now on one side, and your husband on the other. You are at peace, enjoying the love of all your ancestors around you. But you glance down to earth, realizing you were just there, and that you left other loved ones behind that you will miss tremendously. And at once you realize that all you learned about our Savior and His plan on earth is true—you are comforted still.
Her radiance from heaven above will continue to light up our world. You have no idea the wake you left in our path as you planted seeds along the way with flowers to bloom forever.
Our lives have been so much richer because you were our mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend who accepted us, and loved us from the very beginning.
We will honor the life of Mrs. Kimiko I. Figuerres on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lahaina. Visitation will begin at 8:30am, with services beginning at 10:00am. Kimiko will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
In Heaven, Kimiko will join her husband of 80 years, Mr. Cirilo Figuerres and daughter, Roberta Chizue Honda. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Faith (Carl) Ciriako, Lena (Michael) Canoyer, Leola (Mike) Vierra; son, Cyril (Aileen) Figuerres; 11 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
