Koon Fook Yen's Obituary
Koon Fook Yen was born on the Island of Molokai on February 17, 1923 and passed away on March 29, 2018 at Hale Makua Kahului. He loved to cook and really loved Las Vegas. Keno was his love.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at Nakamura Mortuary from 10:00am to 11:00am, with prayer service to begin at 11:00am; burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
Koon Fook is predeceased by his wife, See Kwong Yen; daughter, Linda Sook Sau Palmeira; and parents, Abew and Wah Yet Chin; brothers, Koon Chong Yun, Howard Chin and Robert Chin; sister, Bernice Faborito; survived by son in-law, Richard Palmeira Sr.; hanai daughter, Stephanie (Earl) Asato; brother, Gilbert (Daisy) Chin; sisters, Cecilia Davis, Mary Jones, and Susan (Wallace) Tom; grandchildren, Richard (Kristy) Palmeira Jr., Jason Palmeira, Travis (Czarina) Palmeira and Christopher (Nani) Palmeira; Leslie, Aaron and Taylor Asato; 3 great grandchildren, Konnor, Raquel and Chance Palmeira.
