Lapaz Galapon Ramiscal's Obituary
Lapaz Galapon Ramiscal, age 98, of Wailuku, Hawaii, passed away
peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025. A beloved wife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will always be remembered for
her firm discipline, gentle kindness, steadfast faith, and how she always put
her children first.
Born on January 26, 1927, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she is
survived by her daughters, Anita (Warlito) Calaranan), Pacita (Manuel)
Corpuz, Emilia (Rodrigo) Bio, and Isabelita (Gordon) Hamada; her sons,
Javier (Estrella) Ramiscal, Gil (Janette) Ramiscal, and Nestor Ramiscal; 20
grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Juan; her son, Ruben; and her daughter, Leticia Acfalle.
A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2025, at Kahului Seventh-Day
Adventist Church. Visitation: 9:30 am; Services: 10:30 am; Burial: 2:00
pm at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery.
