Lillian Tetsuko Tada's Obituary
Lillian Tetsuko Tada, 98, of Wailuku, passed away suddenly and peacefully on October 4, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center with loving family by her side.
Private family service honoring Mrs. Tada will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on November 10, 2016 with service at 11:00 am, and burial at 2:00 pm. Please no koden. In lieu of koden, please donate to your favorite charity in her name.
Mrs. Tada was born on July 27, 1918, in Waikapu, Maui, to Munenao & Agu Okuyama.
Mrs. Tada was a sales lady for Sears Roebuck Company. Lillian was a hard worker who loved to cook, bake, host poker nights, and provide home cooked meals to her peers at the work place.
Mrs. Tada is pre deceased by her loving husband, Thomas Tetsuo Tada, who passed away on September 20, 2003.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory, son, Ronald (June) Tada; daughters, Lydia Furomoto, and Donna (Edward) Grier; daughter in law, Ellen Tada; sisters, Thelma Omiya of California, Mary Endo, and Karen Shigano of Oahu; grandchildren, Michael (Manuel) Tada, Burt Tada, Denise Tada, LeaAnne (Keith) Kure, Wessen Furomoto, Diana Grier, John Grier, Melissa Tada, and Robert Tada; and 3 loving great- grandchildren.
