Linda Lee Bader's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the Bader family announce the passing of Linda Lee Bader, age 65. Linda passed away peacefully at her home in Kihei surrounded by her family after her long battle with pancreatic cancer. The Bader family would like to acknowledge Maui Hospice for their care and services provided. LInda Lee Synder was born on March 4, 1958 to Frank and Shirley Synder. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her stepfather, Fred Breeze. Linda is survived by her husband Daniel Bader of Kihei. She is survived by her children, Tonya (Jay) Grabiak, Lori (Dave) Depetris, Gregory Bader, Ryan Bader, and Jacqueline (Robert) Johnson. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She is also survived by her 5 brothers and 5 sisters, and many cousins, nieces and nephews all from Pennsylvania. Upon relocating to Maui in 2006, Linda worked at the Maui Prince resort, Maui Tacos and Hawaiian Moons. Linda touched many hearts along her journey of life and those times and memories won't be forgotten, Her smile, generosity, thinking of others and her Love and Aloha made a profound impact on her friends and family. She loved Maui, going to the beach, golfing, cooking and sunsets. She will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held in Kihei on Saturday, July 22.
A ceremony to spread her ashes will commence at Charley Young beach at 8:30 am followed by a mass at 10 am honoring Linda at St. Theresa's Catholic Church on Lipoa St. in Kihei. Following the mass, everyone is invited for a celebration of Linda's life at Kalama Park pavilion behind the baseball field with food and entertainment. Please join us for this special occasion. Donations can be made to the Mana'olana Pink Paddlers organization of Maui or the Pacific Cancer foundation in lieu of flowers.
