Im so sorry for your loss, the death of a loved one can be one of the hardest things we deal with in this life. Leaving the family with questions such as Why?
But death was never part of our Gods purpose for humans, our original purpose was to live forever in a paradise happy. And our god promises to get ride of death forever, Rev 21:3,4 mentions that God will get ride of the pain and suffering and including death. What a beautiful hope we have that we will have the chance to see our loved ones again. I hope that this brings you much comfort during your time of grief. Your family will be in my prayers.
