Louise Abihai's Obituary
Louise Abihai, 97, of Lahaina, Maui passed away on August 8, 2023. Louise retired as a bartender at Royal Lahaina Hotel and Valley Isle Resort Kahana as a housekeeper. She was involved with Maria Lanakila Church Club Lahaina, West Side Seniors Club and Santa Maria Filipino Club. Her passions were going to church every day and listening to loud Hawaiian music.
She is predeceased by her parents: Calixto Solamillo and Mary Martinez; sisters and brother: Carmen Calua, Stanley Solamillo, Ramona Dongog, Angie Solamillo, Carroline Arkangel; husband: Raymond Abihai; son: Raymond Abihai Jr; grandson: Stanley Abihai Jr.; and granddaughter: Suezette Abihai.
She is survived and loved by her sister: Dolleros Solamillo; children: Paterica Patty (Earl) Nishiyama, Leilani Amine, and Stanley (Johanna) Abihai; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Church in Wailuku, Hawaii. Visitation will be held from 9 AM- 10 AM, Mass will be held from 10 AM – 11 AM with Final Visitation to follow after Mass. Burial will be at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao, Hawaii at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements were made by Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku, Hawaii.
