Louise "Haniki" Cravalho Mitsumura's Obituary
Louise "Haniki" Cravalho Mitsumura, 89, passed away on March 26, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 07, 1935, in Kula.
Louise "Haniki" was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved packing up the truck and going camping and fishing behind the mountain and working in her garden. She was an avid ham-radio operator when the family went out fishing on the ocean and was a spotless homemaker. She had an incredible gift working with end-of-life patients and their families with love and respect. She had a heart of gold and touched everyone she came in contact with, always willing to lend an ear and help in any way she could. She always-always made time for every member of the family.
Louise "Haniki" was married to the love of her life, Masaji "Danny" Mitsumura for 59 years till his passing in 2011. She is survived by her brother Richard (Susie) Cravalho, sons, Daniel M. Mitsumura, Donald (Fran Peart) Mitsumura, Ronald Mitsumura, Mike (Sheila) Mitsumura, Randall Mitsumura and daughter, Danette Mitsumura. Grandchildren Chris Mitsumura, Lisa (Butch) Maoi, Colleen (Bert) Maddela, Daneen Mitsumura, Mandy (Michael) Mendoza, Jake Mitsumura, Christy Mitsumura, Lana Mitsumura and Chase Mitsumura-Macinnes. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 6 great greatgrandchildren.
To say she will be missed is an understatement. A private scattering of ashes will be held.
