Lynn Misae Manibog's Obituary
Lynn Manibog, 74, of Lahaina passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Lynn was born in Wailuku, Maui, on April 26, 1949 to Isami and Litsuko Miyabara. She will be remembered by family and friends as loving and caring, someone who always put others before herself.
Lynn held multiple positions at the Royal Lahaina Resort, and she retired as a Payroll Specialist after 35 years. Because she loved working and helping people, she spent the next 10 years as a Substitute Teacher. Her favorite place to teach was King Kamehameha III Elementary School.
She had 2 children, Brandy Manibog (Steve Iwankiw) and Shannon Manibog (Einar Santos Jr.). She was also survived by 2 siblings, Miles Miyabara (Su), and Leona Nakashima (Richie).
Lynn adored and was so proud of her 5 grandchildren, Owen Wegner, Akira Foreman, Keiko Wegner, Kapohu Pasco, and Einar Santos III (Crash), 1 great grandchild, Markus Cuadro-Wegner, and one great grandchild, Zharaia-Lynn Cuadro-Wegner, on the way. They all miss their grandma dearly.
Immediate family will privately scatter Lynn's remains next April on her birthday.
