Mabel M. Kim's Obituary
Mabel Moeko Fujioka Kim, born April 9, 1936, passed away on July 2, 2022, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Born and raised in Pepeekeo, Hawaii Island, to Masaji Fujioka and Tsurue Izumizaki Fujioka, Mabel moved to Honolulu, then to Maui. She retired from Ooka Supermarket after 25 years. In recent years she lived at Hale Mahaolu and Hale Makua Kahului where she also volunteered when she could. Mabel was a Christian and, at her request, no memorial service is planned.
Mabel was predeceased by her daughters Naomi Kim and Joyce Kim Pauta. She is survived by her son, Donald Kim (Hye Kyong James), grandchildren Shayne, Sonya, Brent, Preston, Christopher, Isaiah, Taisia, Kesaia, and Manu, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
