Maria Fayloga Agsalog's Obituary
Maria Fayloga Agsalog, 84, of Kahului, passed away on August 9, 2017, with her loving family by her side.
Night wake honoring Mrs. Agsalog will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Nakamura Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Christ the King Church on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.; with mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park – Main Cemetery.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Agsalog was born on August 15, 1932 in the Philippines to Cecelio & Aurelia Fayloga, she was the youngest of 5 children. She worked as an irrigator for HC&S.
Mrs. Agsalog leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Vitaliano Agsalog; daughter, Floraida (Franklin) Koek; son, Danny (Jo Ann) Agsalog; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Agsalog was incredible in the kitchen, she was especially known for her puto and bibinka. She also loved to sew and was able to create complicated designs without patterns. She was also a long-time member of Christ the King Catholic Community and the Filipino Sinaitians Club. Mrs. Agsalog will be remembered by her friends and family as an honest, loving, generous and caring woman.
