Masako Miyashiro's Obituary
Masako Miyashiro, 86, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2017, under the care of Hospice Maui, with her loving husband by her side.
Services honoring Mrs. Miyashiro were held privately.
Mrs. Miyashiro was born on April 18, 1930, in Wailuku, Hawaii, to Chikanoichi and Takayo Yoda. Masako was a homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved to sew, crochet, garden, talk story with the neighbors, but most importantly, spend time with her family.
Masako leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 63 years, Masaichi Miyashiro; son, Brian (Susan Plunkett) Miyashiro; daughters, Norma (Ronald) Yotsuya, and Joyce (David) Nakamoto; sisters, Janet Wong, Bernadine Tagomori, and Barbara Rodrigues; brothers, David (Michi) Yoda, and Joseph Yoda; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
