Masako Okada, 87, of Kahului, died on July 27, 2015, at Hale Makua Kahului.
Private services were held. The Okada family requests no flowers or koden, please.
Mrs. Okada was born Sept. 13, 1927, in Wailuku, HI. She was a secretary for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations.
Mrs. Okada was predeceased by her husband, Masaichi Okada, and is survived by her sons, Wayne (Debbie) Okada, and Brian Okada; daughters, Lynette (Lester) Yamamoto, and Valerie Okada; brother, Mareo Kitagawa; grandchildren, Alee-a Blanco, Ki-anna Blanco, and Tay-lyn O’Grady; great grandson, Jedidiah Moncalian; numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
