Masako Hiraiwa Suehiro's Obituary
Masako Hiraiwa Suehiro, born in Kona and a longtime resident of Honolua, Lahaina and Waikapu, died peacefully at home on November 8, 2022 with her family at her side.
She is survived by a son, Derek Suehiro, a dtr, Linda (Dan) Walsh, grandson, Logan Walsh, granddtr.,Emery (Chad) Kaya, sister Shirley Isagawa and many nieces/nephews and friends, near and far away.
Masako is pre deceased by her husband, Arthur, her parents and 6 siblings. She will long be remembered by many as a bright and uplifting person you’d always enjoy greeting.
Memorial services will be held at the Lahaina Hongwanji Mission on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:30am. Casual attire and refreshments to follow. The family requests any donations in Masako’s memory be given to the Lahaina Hongwanji Mission.
The Masako Suehiro family wishes to thank the Hospice Maui staff, Roselani Place, who made her feel at home for a few years and our many family/friends who supported all of us through these recent weeks.
