Masanobu Yamashiro's Obituary
Masanobu Yamashiro, 93, passed away on April 30, 2017 at Roselani Place under the compassionate care of Roselani Place and Islands Hospice. He was born on October 19, 1923, in Pepe’ekeo, Big Island.
Masanobu was the owner of Maui Yamashiro Products. He personally delivered his produce to markets and restaurants throughout Maui and while doing so developed many friendships throughout his career. Masa was an avid tennis player and enjoyed going to the gym until his mid 80s.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kimiko “Betty” Yamashiro. He is survived by his son, Michael (Lynette) Yamashiro of Maui, Gale (Kent) Yamase of Oahu, sister, Gladys (Barney) Itamura of Maui, grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Mah and Reid Yamashiro of Oahu, Ryan Yamase of Texas and great grandchildren, Logan and Payton Mah.
A family service will be held at a later date. Nakamura mortuary is assisting with arrangements. The family respectfully requests no Koden or flowers.
