I can see her smile so clearly, her eyes full of love for her family, strength from God and compassion on anyone who was hurting. I love the memory of our last hike together; our kids' birthday parties, Bible study memories and prayer times! The time she dropped by at our old house and we sat on the front porch talking and eating burritos (we took a picture together that day, I'm still hunting for it. She was wearing a beautiful dress and I was pretty haggard but I remember wanting to capture that moment). I think we had most of our conversations in parking lots or next to our vehicles, we'd suddenly remember something we needed to talk about. She'd often have items on her person, keepsakes, ideas, books that she'd work on in any spare moment for her sweet boy. She always surprised me with the thought, time and effort she put into setting things in place-her heart, her mind, her future.. she placed them in God's hands 100%; her family's heart, mind and future.. she placed also into God's hands, and yet she never neglected to prepare in every way imaginable for the better of her family.
She is definitely one of the most selfless sisters I've ever known. Even up to the very last face to face, phone conversation, and text message.. she continued to show grace and thanksgiving on and toward others, she constantly edified every one of us to seek God first. I love her so much and can't wait to see her again.
