Michael Chargin's Obituary
Michael John Chargin passed away on January 15, 2025. Mike was born on August 27, 1967. He is survived by his parents Elton and Natalie (Gomes) Chargin; wife Jennifer Chargin; daughters Ashley (Justin) Blais, Tiana (Shawn) Ramirez, Courtney Chargin, Brittany McGuire, and Nikki McGuire; grandchildren Easton, Tristan, Hunter and Bishop; brothers Mark (Angela) Chargin and Mitchell Chargin, and many nieces and nephews.
Mike began his construction career while attending Maui High School and working for his father at E C Construction. In 2001 he created Pacific Concrete Designs LLC where he specialized in unique decorative concrete. All through his life Mike enjoyed spearfishing, hunting, golfing, long rides on his chopper, fast cars and wood working among other things.
He had a warm smile, a laugh that filled the room, and a sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. His kindness and generosity were evident in the way he cared for others, always willing to lend a hand or share a moment of laughter, He made the people in his life feel valued and loved leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at the main hall of the Kenolio Recreation Center, 131 S. Kihei Rd. Kihei HI 96753 on April 12, 2025, at 12pm followed with a paddle out at Makena Landing.
