Michael Federoff's Obituary
Michael Federoff, 66 of Kihei passed away on December 29 at his home after fighting a courageous six year battle with pharyngeal cancer.
Michael is survived by his wife Ellen, sister Karen Olsen, daughters Danielle Federoff and Lauren Walton, and his beloved dogs Koa and Hoku.
Michael moved to Maui in 1996 to pursue outrigger canoe racing. He worked as an independent painting contractor. He was an avid waterman, woodworker, and loved to hike, scuba dive and play guitar.
He was known for his generosity and willingness to help others, his passion for the environment and his love for life. He was a husband, father, teammate, competitor and artist.

Please join us for a celebration of his life, Saturday, February 7 at Ka Lae Pohaku Beach (Kihei Canoe Club) at 10:30am. There will be a paddle out ash ceremony, live music, lunch and talk story on the beach.
