Dr. Michael D. Morrison, 68, of Kihei, passed away peacefully at Maui Memorial Medical Center on May 1, 2017.
Michael was born on August 20,1948, in Van Nuys, California.
The most intense joy of Michael’s life was at the birth of Orion, his only child, on March 3, 2001. The greatest tragedy of Michael’s life was Orion’s death 5-1/2 months later, the day after Michael’s birthday, on August 21, 2001, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Michael was a Chiropractor by profession. He was also a gifted intuitive physician.
Michael was devoted to the healing of others. Michael always said that the most important advice from his Mother was to, “Always be kind.”
Michael is survived by his first cousin, Paulette (Dameron) Fearing and her husband, Dennis. Michael maintained a life-long connection to Paulette. Michael and Paulette were raised together like brother and sister. And Michael is survived by a half-nephew and two half-nieces.
He was also survived by his Maui family of dear friends. They were constant in their physical and emotional support during his time of need.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have lost one of their greatest fans. Michael also had a deep and abiding love for Classic Rock ‘N’ Roll.
Michael was loved. Michael will be missed.
