Michael James Sacapanio's Obituary
Michael James Sacapanio, 60, of Kahului, passed away on December 21, 2013 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm - 9::00pm on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Christ the King Church and continues on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 9:00am with mass at 12:00pm. Burial will be 1:30pm at Maui Veteran's Cemetery, Makawao.
Mr. Sacapanio was born on July 23, 1953 in Puunene, Maui. He graduated from Maui High School with the class of 1971.
He was a janitor at the Kahului Airport for the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dorey and Ah Lun (Yap) Sacapanio, Sr., sisters, Patricia Ann Sacapanio, Jeanette Silva; brothers, Thomas "Tomo" Sacapanio and Henry Jerry Sacapanio.
He is survived by his companion, Terrie Baisa; sons, Marshall (Jessica Lee) Sacapanio-Baisa, Peter (Destiny Mahaulu) Sacapanio-Baisa; daughter, Miriam (Kayceson Akimseu) Sacapanio-Baisa; grandson, Kaikea Gomes-Baisa; sister, Kathleen Sacapanio; brother, Salvador "Sonny" Sacapanio; god mother, Margaret "Aoe" Louis; numerous nieces and nephews and the Enomoto-Po'ai ohana.
